The AcquaChiara 915 Canister filtering system is made of only the highest quality parts and materials insuring a quiet, energy efficient, powerful and user-friendly unit.  It is ideal for Freshwater and Saltwater Reef Tnaks.  As you can see at the top of the unit there is a built in primer - Push to Prime.  There are shut off valves with disconnects.  With media containers that are designed to allow maximum filtering capacity, while remaining versatile. The media containers can be used for chemical, mechanical, resin or biological filtering media. Integrated onto the pump lid are tubing tap connectors, which combine shut-off valves, hose connectors, and quick disconnect unions. Media is sold separetely.

The AcquaChiara 915 canister filter provides mechanical, chemical and biological filtration for aquariums up to 150 gallons. It is for freshwater and saltwater aquariums and has a flow rate of 320gph. The AcquaChiara 915 comes with a self primer that allows the initiation of water flow by a simple pumping motion. The unit features lift lock clamps that allow the quick removal of the motor housing from the filter unit. Just lift the clamps on each side of the filter and pull up. The foam screen frame which provides mechanical filtration is conveniently accessible and removable. Biomax Biological media provides a large porous surface area for bacteria to grow performing biological filtration. This design and its features make the AcquaChiara 915 extremely user friendly. The unit also comes with a 3 media baskets, intake strainer, intake valve, output valve, suction cups, and tubings. It is recommended that the carbon media is placed in the bottom filter basket, biological media in the top basket and additional media can go in the middle. The AcquaChiara 915 has a 20 watt power supply with a 6 ft cord.
